London Tour — blog 1
I wanted to share my experience when I travelled to London -
Known as one of the world’s greatest cosmopolitan cities, London is packed with museums, shops, and restaurants that cater to people from different walks of life. Aside from its many stores and attractions, it is a city known for its interesting history related to royalty, politics, and architecture.
London is home to renowned attractions like the Buckingham Palace where the royal family lives; the iconic Big Ben, which is almost always present in movies featuring the city; the Tower of London, a Medieval castle that houses the Crown Jewels; and more.
There are just so many places to visit and things to do in London. It’s a massive city that can’t be explored in just a day. But if you’re up for the adventure, we can always give you a kickstart to your trip. Why not start with a place where you can get one of the best, breathtaking, and panoramic views of London: the London Eye!
The London Eye is the UK’s most popular visitor attraction. It stands at 135 meters high above the ground, making it a must-visit attraction for anyone looking to see the spectacular London skyline. It is the world’s largest cantilevered observation wheel that offers different views, 25 miles in every direction. From the London Eye pod, you will see landmarks like Big Ben, the Buckingham Palace, St. Paul’s Cathedral, and more. With all the attractions that you can spot from afar, you can even map out the places that you’d like to go to next right from where you are!
Launched in 2000, the London Eye has won over 85 awards for both national and international tourism, architectural quality, and engineering. For you to have a nice experience, the glass pods have seats (but feel free to stand too, if you want) and air-conditioning so you won’t have to worry about not being comfortable.
